- Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Kitchen & Laundry Equipment Technician to perform the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on technical experience with electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas, and electronic systems used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services, diagnosing equipment faults, completing repairs efficiently, and ensuring maximum equipment reliability while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and compliance with company safety standards. - Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
Install, assemble, and commission commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
Perform equipment testing and commissioning according to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure proper installation quality before customer handover.
Train customers on basic equipment operation when required.
Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas, steam, and electronic faults.
Replace defective components and ensure equipment is restored to full operational condition.
Perform emergency breakdown services and minimize equipment downtime.
Verify equipment performance after repair and testing.
Troubleshooting
Identify root causes of equipment failures using systematic diagnostic procedures.
Read electrical wiring diagrams and technical schematics for fault diagnosis.
Escalate complex technical issues to the Technical Supervisor when necessary.
Maintain high first-time repair success rates.
Customer Service
Provide professional technical support to customers on-site.
Explain repair findings and maintenance recommendations clearly.
Maintain positive customer relationships through professional conduct.
Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently.
Spare Parts Management
Identify and request required spare parts accurately.
Ensure proper usage and handling of spare parts.
Return replaced defective components according to company procedures.
Assist in maintaining van stock and workshop inventory.
Documentation & Reporting
Complete service reports accurately after each service visit.
Record equipment condition, work performed, spare parts used, and recommendations.
Submit daily service reports and timesheets on time.
Maintain accurate maintenance history for assigned equipment.
Health, Safety & Quality
Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain clean and safe working practices.
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
Report safety hazards immediately.

Requirements:
- Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas, steam, hydraulic, and electronic control systems.
- Proven experience troubleshooting commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, technical manuals, exploded views, and equipment schematics.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with manufacturer service manuals and technical documentation.
- Good command of spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Willing and able to travel throughout Saudi Arabia as required.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
