Job Summary:
Position - Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager (New Product development)
Location - Bahrain
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience
• relevant experience in New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) within the Residential and Light Commercial Air Conditioning (RAC/LCAC) industry.
• Proven experience in the design and development of the following product categories:
o Wall Mounted Split Air Conditioners
o Window Air Conditioners
o Cassette Air Conditioners
o Concealed Ducted Split Units
o Floor Standing Air Conditioners
o Ceiling Suspended Air Conditioners
o Multi Split Systems
o Inverter Air Conditioners
o VRF Systems
o Air-to-Water Heat Pumps
o Heat Pump Water Heaters
• Hands-on experience in complete product development from concept design through prototype development, testing, validation, certification, and mass production.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, thermodynamics, heat transfer, psychrometrics, and HVAC product engineering.
• Experience in refrigeration component selection, heat exchanger design, airflow optimization, inverter systems, and energy efficiency improvement.
• Experience in value engineering, cost reduction, localization, alternative component development, and supplier qualification.
• Working knowledge of international standards and certification requirements such as IEC, CE, CB, SASO, ESMA, GCC, BIS, AHRI, and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Experience in product benchmarking, competitor analysis, and technology roadmap development.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional product development projects and coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams.
• Experience in mentoring engineers, conducting technical reviews, and leading engineering teams is preferred.

- • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related discipline.
- • Master's Degree (M.Tech./M.E.) in Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Energy Engineering will be an added advantage.
