Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor with a strong background in construction projects, preferably high-rise, high-profile, or mega projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying, setting out, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and construction layout works while ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and UAE construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform land, topographical, and construction surveys for project execution.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
- Carry out setting-out works for foundations, structures, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Verify dimensions, elevations, alignments, and levels according to approved drawings.
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate survey reports and records.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure accurate construction layout.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design coordinates and tolerances.
- Prepare survey calculations, coordinate data, and technical reports.
- Resolve site-related surveying discrepancies and technical issues.
- Maintain survey records, field books, and documentation.
- Support project handover activities and final as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects.
- Experience in high-rise, high-profile, or mega projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments.
- Strong knowledge of survey calculations, coordinate systems, and construction setting-out procedures.
- Experience in topographical surveys, as-built surveys, and quantity calculations.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and UAE construction standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, and survey-related software.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
