Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR / Assistant HR Manager to oversee the end-to-end Human Resources function for our trading business. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll coordination, HR policies, compliance, training, and HR operations. Experience in the trading, distribution, FMCG, or retail sector is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Source, screen, interview, and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Negotiate offers and manage the onboarding process.
- HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
- Handle HR audits and maintain statutory documentation.
- Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Advise managers on HR policies and employee relations issues.
- Performance Management
- Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and performance improvement plans.
- Monitor employee performance and development initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate monthly payroll with the finance team or payroll provider.
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, and insurance.
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs and statutory deductions.
- Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Organize internal and external training programs.
- Monitor employee development and succession planning.
- HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and workforce analytics.
- Support internal and external audits.
- HR Systems
- Maintain HRIS/ERP employee data accurately.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards.
- Recommend process improvements through HR automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is preferred.
- 8–12+ years of comprehensive HR experience.
- Experience in a trading, distribution, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with HRMS/ERP systems is essential.
