Job Summary:
One of our clients in Dubai is looking for Planner (Interior Design).
Key Responsibilities:
- 1.Project Planning
•Develop detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
•Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and delivery dates.
•Prepare integrated schedules covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, FAT, delivery, and installation.
•Review project scope and prepare planning strategies aligned with contractual requirements. - 2.Project Monitoring & Control
•Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify variances.
•Track engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and installation activities.
•Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports for management.
•Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective and recovery actions.
•Prepare mitigation and acceleration programmes when required. - 3.Manufacturing & Production Planning
•Coordinate production schedules with factory operations to ensure efficient workflow.
•Monitor manufacturing progress for bespoke joinery, furniture, and yacht interior components. - 4.Resource & Cost Planning
•Monitor budgeted versus actual manhours and productivity.
•Forecast manpower requirements and resource utilization. - 5.Procurement & Logistics
•Coordinate procurement schedules to ensure timely material availability.
•Develop logistics plans for local and international shipments. - 6.Commercial & Contract Support
•Support Project Managers with project forecasting and cash flow planning.
•Assist in preparing payment applications and progress updates. - 7.Risk Management
•Identify project risks affecting schedule and delivery.
Requirements:

- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in planning and monitoring the manufacturing process for large-scale yacht and residential projects.
- •Extensive knowledge of industry-leading planning software, such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- •Ability to independently manage the approval process for the master schedule, delay claims, and assess the impact of variations and change orders on the master schedule.
- •Skilled in interpreting and integrating subcontractors' schedules into the master plan.
