Job Summary:
Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering IoT and Niagara-based BMS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, quality standards, budget, and schedule. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing integrations between IoT devices and Niagara systems, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project initiation, requirements gathering, and scope definition
- - Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and allocate resources effectively
- - Manage integration of IoT platforms, devices, and Niagara Framework
- - Oversee installation, programming, and commissioning of systems
- - Coordinate with design, engineering, and field teams
- - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- - Facilitate training sessions and handover to clients
- - Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- - Act as the main point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams
- - Track project costs and ensure financial targets are met
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience- Strong knowledge of Niagara Framework and BMS systems- Understanding of IoT architectures and integration with cloud platforms- Familiarity with HVAC control principles and energy management- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication skills- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
