Job Summary:
Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance of Niagara-based Building Management Systems (BMS), including associated software, hardware, and field devices
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, and contractors for project requirements, site visits, and progress meetings
- - Understand client needs and explain system capabilities and integration options
- - Develop and deploy Niagara stations, logic, and user interfaces according to project specifications
- - Integrate BMS with HVAC, lighting, energy metering, and other building systems
- - Conduct system testing to ensure full operational functionality and performance compliance
- - Ensure project delivery according to timelines and quality standards
- - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Niagara-based BMS installations
- - Maintain documentation including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and configuration records
- - Exercise a personal duty of care for own and team’s health, safety, and welfare
Requirements:
- - 2 to 4 Years experience in BMS engineering with hands-on Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 preferred)- Strong knowledge of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)- Proficiency in Niagara Workbench for programming and commissioning- Experience with field devices and control panel wiring in HVAC/BMS applications- Ability to integrate third-party systems into Niagara platforms- Good knowledge of HVAC control principles and sequence of operations- Ability to read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and technical manuals- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving BMS-related issues- Good communication skills in English- Working knowledge of MS Office BE/BTech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering- Niagara Certification (N4 TCP or equivalent) preferred
