Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced **Senior System Administrator** to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in server administration, identity and access management, cybersecurity best practices, and infrastructure troubleshooting to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Administration
- * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
- * Manage physical and virtual servers, including performance monitoring and capacity planning.
- * Perform system upgrades, patch management, and operating system maintenance.
- * Administer server roles and services such as DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, and IIS.
- * Ensure server availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Active Directory & Identity Management
- * Administer and maintain **Microsoft Active Directory** infrastructure.
- * Manage user accounts, security groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and Group Policies (GPOs).
- * Implement and maintain identity and access management controls.
- * Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and domain-related issues.
- * Manage Active Directory replication, domain controllers, and trust relationships.

- Virtualization & Storage
- * Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- * Administer enterprise storage solutions, SAN/NAS environments, and backup systems.
- * Monitor storage utilization and optimize infrastructure performance.

- Security & Compliance
- * Implement and maintain security best practices for servers and infrastructure.
- * Monitor security alerts and vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation activities.
- * Manage endpoint protection, system hardening, and access control policies.
- * Support compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- * Manage backup solutions and ensure successful backup completion.
- * Conduct periodic backup restoration testing.
- * Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures and documentation.

- Monitoring & Support
- * Monitor server health, system performance, and infrastructure availability.
- * Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents and service outages.
- * Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
- * Coordinate with vendors and third-party support providers when required.

- Documentation & Reporting
- * Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- * Prepare reports on system performance, capacity utilization, and infrastructure improvements.
- * Develop and update standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.* Minimum **5–8 years** of experience in system administration and infrastructure support.* Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft Windows Server Administration**.* Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS, and DHCP**.* Experience managing virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.* Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.* Knowledge of enterprise storage systems and server hardware.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
