Job Summary:
My client is an Insurance broker is seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead its Abu Dhabi operations.The role is responsible for driving business growth, managing client portfolios, leading sales and technical teams, and strengthening relationships within the Abu Dhabi insurance market. The ideal candidate will bring strong market knowledge, leadership capability, and a proven track record in insurance portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Portfolio Management
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio valued at AED 10 million or more
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Abu Dhabi market
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts
- Drive revenue growth and meet branch performance targets
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage technical and sales teams within the branch
- Provide direction, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure alignment of team goals with overall business objectives
- Foster a high-performance and client-focused culture
- Market & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, brokers, and providers
- Stay updated on Abu Dhabi insurance market trends, regulations, and competitors
- Leverage market insights to enhance business strategy and customer offerings
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE insurance regulations and company policies
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations and service delivery
- Monitor risk management practices and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Client Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional client service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Act as the key point of contact for major clients and escalate issues when required
- Strengthen long-term partnerships through effective communication and service delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry
- Mandatory experience within the Abu Dhabi insurance market
- Proven track record in managing large client portfolios (AED 10M+)
