Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to support the successful delivery of Class 2 residential construction projects. Reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring multiple trades and work fronts are managed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project requirements. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with strong leadership skills and proven experience on medium to large-scale apartment or multi-residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities across multiple trades and work areas.
    • Plan and manage labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to achieve project milestones.
    • Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with project schedules.
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and productivity on site.
    • Conduct daily site inspections and proactively resolve construction issues.
    • Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements.
    • Coordinate trade sequencing and manage interfaces between subcontractors.
    • Assist in short-term and look-ahead planning to maintain project momentum.
    • Communicate effectively with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Monitor site housekeeping, logistics, and site access arrangements.
Requirements:
    • 7–12 years of construction experience, preferably within Class 2 residential projects.
    • Proven experience as a Foreman or General Foreman on apartment or multi-residential developments.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades and work fronts simultaneously.
    • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and trade coordination.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
    • Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Trade qualification or relevant construction qualification preferred.
