Job Summary:
One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Service Engineer (Pumps & Process Equipment).
Key Responsibilities:
- The Junior Service Engineer will support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of pumps and process equipment used in water and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). The role involves field service activities, technical support, preventive maintenance, and coordination with customers and internal teams to ensure reliable plant operations.
Service & Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on:
- Centrifugal pumps
- Dosing pumps
- Submersible pumps
- Mixers and agitators
- Blowers and associated process equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and operational faults.
- Carry out equipment inspections and condition assessments.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in installation and commissioning of pumps and wastewater treatment equipment.
- Conduct performance testing and operational checks.
- Support equipment startup and handover activities.
Technical Support
- Provide on-site technical assistance to customers.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and senior engineers for troubleshooting.
- Recommend corrective actions and equipment improvements.
Customer & Project Coordination
- Attend site meetings and maintenance shutdown activities.
- Ensure timely completion of service assignments.
- Maintain professional customer relationships and respond to service requests.
HSE & Compliance
- Follow company and client HSE procedures.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain proper use of tools, PPE, and testing equipment.
Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in:
- Pumps
- Water treatment
- Wastewater treatment plants (WWTP)
- Industrial maintenance
