Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all catering-related items, including food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and equipment
- - Source and negotiate with reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery
- - Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast purchasing needs
- - Ensure all purchases comply with health and safety regulations
- - Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance
- - Work closely with kitchen staff and operations to understand and fulfill their needs
- - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- - Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed buying decisions
- - Research new products and technologies to improve the overall purchasing process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager in the catering, hospitality, or food service industry (5-10 years)- Strong negotiation and communication skills- Solid knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software, Microsoft Dynamics 365- CIPS qualification preferred
