Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue by selling innovative shopper activation solutions—including couponing, in-store gamification, and promotional activation campaigns—to FMCG brand managers, Trade Marketing and marketing directors. You will act as the strategic link, helping brands use retail technology to influence consumer behavior and increase "sell-out" within major retail chains.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed established sales targets by identifying and qualifying leads to create new sales opportunities.
    • Portfolio Growth: Manage a large portfolio of customers, successfully creating profitable business from both new and existing accounts.
    • Strategic Relationship Management: Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers, acting as a "trusted advisor" in the delivery of optimum marketing solutions.
    • Customer Insight: Ensure perfect customer relationship management through a deep understanding of customer marketing needs, requirements, and objectives.
    • Consultative Proposal Development: Prepare detailed promotion plans, adapted recommendations based on specific brand briefs.
    • Financial Governance: Secure timely payment collection for all executed campaigns and services.
    • Service Excellence: Continuously seek ways to raise levels of customer service by implementing feedback loops and driving service improvements.
    • Reporting: Maintain transparent communication and provide regular performance updates to the Head of Sales.
Requirements:
    • Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience, ideally within a Marketing Agency, AdTech, or FMCG environment.
    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the FMCG landscape in the KSA and how brand managers allocate Marketing and trade marketing budgets.
    • Technical: Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
    • Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills; ability to simplify complex digital solutions for traditional marketing teams.
    • Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
    • Network: An existing network of contacts within the marketing departments of major FMCG companies and Key KSA Retailer is highly preferred.
