DENTAL ASSISTANT   (30737)

Our client, a leading Dental facility requires a Dental Assistant for their Abu Dhabi division. DOH/DHA licensed incumbents with minimum 2 years of experience are welcome. The candidate must fulfill the below requisites to apply for the role.
 

·         Provide chair-side assistance to dentists and/or dental hygienists in the performance of dental procedures, to include operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and/or oral surgical procedures.

·         Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials

·         Prepare, sterilize, organize, and set up dental equipment.

·         Readies patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.

·         Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.

·         Ensure that all dental instruments are cleaned, dated, and processed according to established clinic guidelines and standards.

·         Monitor and maintain dental equipment, system, radiographic developing equipment, sterilizer, and light curing units, in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.

·         Develop and process dental radiograph in accordance with guidelines, assists in the monitoring and maintenance of radiation safety procedures and protocols.

·         Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·         Follow and maintain all relevant UAE regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards for the provision of dental clinical services.
