Our client, a multinational home appliances manufacturer is looking for a Product Manager.
Objective of this role is to manage full lifecycle in MDA product categories in the Middle East.
Product Manager, acting as the product expert, knows every single product in the assortment from material code to sales performance combines this knowledge with market insights when building go-to-market plans in collaboration with HQ, Sales (and distributors), Brand Marketing and Supply Chain. You are responsible for making the best choices for your categories in line with company targets.

Manage and provide a competitive product range for the ME/SA region in corporation with HQ
Manage category mix and pricing structure effectively to assure T/O, profitability and other company targets
Manage pricing plans (new products, price increases and pricelist creation) according to guidelines
Ensure seamless and timely introduction of phase-ins (releases, pricing and other relevant information shared in advance with stakeholders etc.) as well as phase-outs
Analyze internal and external information to monitor category developments (versus plan); take full responsibility and initiative proposing action required
Analyze and own category P&L to continuously optimize product assortment
Develop market intelligence through regular market visits and lead regional product teams developing products fitting local needs
Act as the Product expert of product assortment as well as competitors (assortment, pricing) in order to identify opportunities in local markets
Coordinate and support of Sales, distributors as well as internal approbation and Brand team to assure regional suitability and availability of products
Provide information to Supply/Demand planner and Sales about the new launches, positioning the new products considering the benchmarked competitor(s), follow up of the turnover development
Provide information and support to Brand team (including Digital and Trade Marketing) regarding the development of communication materials, catalogues, POPs and technical product information on websites
Build & maintain monthly performance reports
Ensure effective training of external and internal parties about new launches as well as market dynamics, competition landscape.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering required (MBA preferred)
3-5 years’ experience in product management
Consumer goods industry experience (Consumer Electronics preferred)
Strong knowledge of MS Office – especially Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills (dealing with multiple internal/external counterparts)
