About NADIA’s client: A well-established international bank requires an Emirati for the position of a Customer Service Officer reporting to Operations Manager. This position is expected to handle and resolve customer's enquiries through telephone, email, and walk-ins.


Key Result Areas

·         Attend customer's enquires

·         Prepare and circulate customer's accounts statement through their registered email

·         Liaise with the Business Support team in processing ATM cards

·         Ensures that all customers compliant are resolved in a professional and cordial manner


Key Deliverables

Customers Enquires

·         Attend customer’s enquiries on phone or at the office in a friendly and courteous manner at all times

·         Provide information to customers on their account status and account balances

·         Channel complex customer complaints and challenges to the Operations Manager for effective resolution

·         Ensure that customer’s confidential information is properly protected and only used for official purposes

Sales Support

·         Inform and suggest new banking products to customers

Operations Support

·         Opens customer accounts by recording account information in the system. and as per laid down rules and guidelines

·         Hand customer’s ATM Card.

·         Request a new PIN for the ATM upon customer request.

·         Type any formal letters related to the department.

·         Issuing (returned cheque memo) for the police.

·         Generate customers bank statements and thereafter forward to concern clients through their registered emails


Personal Duties

·         Maintain superior knowledge and awareness of banking rules & regulations in light of the latest developments


Position Competencies

·         These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.


Education, Experience & Skills

·         Minimum 2 years in a similar position in the banking sector

·         Bachelor’s degree is preferred

·         Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English and Arabic

·         Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
