About the Role: The role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, managing budgets, and driving financial performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze financial data to support business decisions.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and IFRS.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Cost Control & Project Finance
- Track project costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Work with project managers to optimize financial performance.
- Review contracts and ensure proper financial terms.
Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal/external audits.
- Ensure adherence to UAE financial laws and company policies.
- Implement strong internal controls.
Treasury & Banking
- Manage banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities.
- Oversee payroll, supplier payments, and receivables.
- Optimize working capital and liquidity.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in finance, with 5+ years in UAE construction industry.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
- Advanced Excel & financial modeling.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and IFRS.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership & communication.
- Analytical & problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
