Our client, a leading name in Shipping & Maritime industry is seeking to hire a Marine Sales Officer for their office based in Dubai.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the maritime industry, including ship owners, ship management companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of each key account, and tailor solutions and services to meet their specific demands.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing key accounts, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of services and delivery of products to key accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess their satisfaction, address any issues, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities to proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on key account performance, sales activities, and market insights to the management team.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand the company's presence and generate leads.
  • Forecasting and working on Pro-Active mode.


Education & other requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Industry / Marine Engineering is MUST.
  • Proven experience as a Marine Sales Officer. Minimum 2 years
  • In-depth knowledge of ship chandler and marine services, including an understanding of vessel operations and industry regulations.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Results-driven mindset, with the ability to identify and seize opportunities for business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and Marine terminology (additional languages are a plus).


Salary: Upto AED 5500

Working Hours / Days: 8.30am to 5.30pm / 6 days

Job Location: Downtown, Dubai
