JOB DESCRIPTION – IT Director

Job Summary:

Real Estate Client is seeking a strategic and technically proficient IT Director to lead our technology operations and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving the development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable platforms and ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of all IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in  environments, cloud technologies, and IT governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and  product innovation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT with business priorities.

Technology Management:

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of platforms.
• Manage IT infrastructure including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), networks, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of all systems.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and data protection protocols.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).

Team Leadership:

• Build and manage a high-performing IT team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Vendor & Budget Management:

• Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners.
• Oversee IT budgets, procurement, and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, DevOps, and IT compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture and API integrations.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
