The Administrator & accountant is responsible for all administration and financial work related to the project site. The goal is to ensure that all site personnel are motivated to make the best effort toward site activities comfortably, efficiently and effectively and not much different to HQ work and to allow all the financial operations at the project site to function properly.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee administrative budget, and manage site bank account with proper and timely cash flow management in cooperation with Cost Control Group of Business Administration Department
• Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation;
• Prepare cost report to HQ regularly or irregularly, if required;
• Prepare financial statement/report in accordance with a local accounting system;
• Monitor expenditure against budgets for the site management;
• Seek quotations for minor works and services from local suppliers as required;
• Purchase required items for site works according to the guidelines of the site purchasing procedures with preparing RFP (Request for Purchase) and PO (Purchase Order);
• Manage expense claim, allowance claim, insurance and medical claim by employees;
• Manage annual income tax for expatriates; and Manage declaration for Foreign Contractor Tax.
• Maintenance of statistical records and registers of site staff
• Assist arrangement of site personnel’s local and overseas business trip / travel.
• Organize and manage of cleaning services for site office;
• Schedule maintenance or upkeep and maintain records on use of the office facilities as needed;
• Organize and manage miscellaneous maintenance services for the site construction offices and equipment therein;
• Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints;
• Reserve / arrange accommodation and transportation for the site personnel including those from overseas
• Manage company vehicles, drivers, toll and petrol cards;
Qualifications and Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in commercial, accountant, global communication or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience of tax and accounting work in power plant industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge for Accounting and accounting rules in Kuwait.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
