Our client, dealing in Automotive Equipment, is seeking to hire an experienced Service Manager to lead their Service Department within the company. This includes overseeing service operations, driving business development initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a high- performing team environment.

Responsible for strategically leading and managing the Automotive Equipment Service Department to achieve growth and profitability targets. This role involves overseeing service operations, developing and implementing business development strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within the Automotive Equipment Service Department.
  • Provide visionary leadership to inspire and motivate the team towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.
  • 2. Business Development; Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the department's market presence and client base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients to enhance business prospects.
  • 3. Service Management: Oversee all aspects of automotive equipment service operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
  • Implement best practices for equipment servicing, maintenance, and repair to uphold high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • 4. Team Management and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of service technicians and support staff within the department.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive individual and collective success.
  • 5. Customer Satisfaction: Uphold a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service quality and support to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to preserve the company's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of at least 20 years in a managerial role within the automotive equipment service industry.
  • Deep understanding of automotive equipment products, service operations, and industry trends. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction.
