Our client is a logistics and supply chain management company.
Responsibilities -
SEA/AIR/LAND EXIM Port Operations: Possess sound knowledge of export and import operations across sea, air, and land ports.
Networking: Maintain a strong network with shipping lines, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), and airlines. Establish connections with freight forwarding associations.
People Management: Lead and manage a team to ensure efficient logistics operations.
Carrier Relationship: Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to negotiate favourable terms and rates.
System & Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all shipments. Utilize logistics software for tracking and managing shipments.
Business Profitability: Analyze costs and implement strategies to increase business profitability from AED 22 million to AED 44 million in P&L.
Customer Handling: Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and issues effectively.
Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Qualifications -
Background: Must have experience in shipping and freight forwarding.
Location: Based in Dubai, with a valid Emirates ID and own car.
Availability: Must be available to join immediately.
Associations: Active membership in freight forwarding associations is required.
Required Skills -
