PROCUREMENT MANAGER   (34642)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Manager with a strong background in E-commerce, FMCG, Fresh Market, or Hypermarket environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and inventory optimization, along with proven leadership in managing cross-functional procurement teams. This role will be instrumental in streamlining procurement processes, reducing costs, and ensuring quality and timely availability of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category-specific procurement strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Source and manage suppliers for fresh produce, packaged goods, and general merchandise, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery timelines.

  • Lead contract negotiations, supplier evaluations, and ongoing performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., merchandising, warehouse, logistics) to forecast demand and manage stock levels.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Monitor KPIs to assess vendor performance and procurement efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability goals, and industry regulations.

  • Manage and mentor a procurement team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work culture.

  • Implement procurement best practices, digital tools, and process improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 6+ years of procurement experience in E-commerce, FMCG, Fresh Market, or Hypermarket environments.

  • 3+ years in a team management or supervisory role.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.

  • Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office tools.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
