We are seeking a Logistics Team Leader to oversee and optimize our logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of shipments, inventory, and compliance with industry regulations. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain, supporting both our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the logistics team, ensuring efficient movement of materials and equipment.
  • Oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with customs regulations.
  • Optimize inventory management processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to streamline logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all logistics activities.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Handle documentation, including import/export paperwork, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) for logistics tracking, order processing, and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably 10, in logistics, ideally within the oil & gas or industrial sector.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in Abu Dhabi or Dubai and a solid understanding of UAE logistics regulations.
  • Deep knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and freight management in the UAE.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) or similar ERP systems, including order processing functionalities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
