A leading higher education institute has an opening for an HR Officer for their Dubai campus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensures that HR policies and procedures are communicated accurately to Institute stakeholders
- Administers the process for contract renewals, resignations, terminations and probation completions
- Coordinates Recruitment process, including reference checks, security paperwork and other new hire documentation
- Creates and maintains secure and confidential HR databases and filing systems
- Administers the new hire orientation program
- Coordinates with Payroll, Compensation and Benefits to ensure the registration and administration of the employees' benefit programs
- Liaises with Visa Administrators regarding employee visa requirements
- Provides advice, guidance and interpretation on the application of HR programs, policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
- MBA Degree in HR is mandatory
- A minimum of 4 years of HR experience
- A high degree of computer literacy; knowledge of an ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- The ability to cope with pressure positively while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment.
