Red Hat Product Manager

Role Overview

As a Red Hat Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of Red Hat’s open-source solutions. You’ll lead product strategy, manage lifecycle planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative enterprise-grade solutions to clients across sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies for Red Hat offerings (e.g., RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible, Satellite).
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive trends.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing teams to define product positioning and go-to-market plans.
• Manage product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Engage with Red Hat and other technology partners to ensure seamless integration and support.
• Provide technical and commercial input for proposals and client engagements.
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with Red Hat or open-source technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with SAFe or Scrum methodologies.
• Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, EX280) are highly desirable.
