Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Sharjah 

Job Overview: The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the company, supporting strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role involves budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, while leading the finance team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting:

o Assist in developing and implementing the company’s financial plans and budgets.

o Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analysis.

o Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate budget allocation and tracking.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

o Analyze the financial results and provide insights to management for decision-making.

o Maintain records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

o Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.

o Assist in managing banking relationships and optimizing treasury operations.

4. Risk Management and Internal Controls:

o Ensure financial controls are in place and operating effectively.

o Assist in identifying financial risks and recommend mitigation actions.

o Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audit processes.

5. Team Management: o Supervise and support the finance and accounting team.

o Delegate tasks, set goals, and provide ongoing training and development.

o Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

6. Compliance and Governance:

o Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial legislation, and corporate policies.

o Support the implementation of financial policies and procedures.

o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and accounting standards.

7. Support Strategic Initiatives:

o Participate in financial modelling for new projects or business proposals.

o Provide analytical support for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

o Work closely with senior management on financial implications of strategic decisions. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.

• Certifications: CPA, CMA, CA or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

• Skills:

o Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and practices.

o Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

o Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

o Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based role with occasional travel for business meetings or audits.

• Requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Must be capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
