Key Accountabilities
• Managing the preparation of detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for civil and infrastructure projects

• Leading a team of estimators and quantity surveyors in evaluating project specifications and drawings to determine overall cost and feasibility

• Analysing project risks and ensure accurate pricing by factoring in market trends, material/labour costs, and project timelines

• Coordinating with Contracts, Planning, Engineering, and Procurement departments to gather technical input

• Maintaining updated database of unit rates, supplier quotes, subcontractor pricing, and market benchmarks

• Reviewing post-tender clarifications, attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings as needed

• Ensuring compliance with Force 10’s internal tendering procedures and client requirements

• Providing value engineering alternatives and cost-saving solutions during bid submissions

• Preparing estimation reports and presentations for senior management approval

• Monitoring awarded projects to compare estimated vs. actual costs and recommend process improvements.

• Accomplishing any other assigned tasks by the line manager as required to support the efficient functioning of the department and achievement of organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.

• Degrees must be attested and equivalent if applicable and translated in Arabic.

• 8+ years of UAE experience in estimation and budgeting within the UAE construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Proven experience in tendering for buildings, and design & build projects.

• Expertise in estimation and project management software (e.g., Candy, CCS, Excel, AutoCAD).

• Solid understanding of FIDIC and local construction laws/regulations

• Strong financial modelling and cost forecasting capabilities.
