Our client, a leading oil & gas contracting EPC consultant seeks to hire project manager for Abu Dhabi division. Successful incumbent must possess expertise delivered in the below KRA's to be eligible for the role. The candidates must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi emirate.
Key Result Areas
- Not less than 5 years Experience in the field of procurement , and has experience in the defense projects
- A bachelor's degree in, business management, business administration, engineering or any related field.
- Any relevant project management related experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Promoting efficiency and best practices for project management and creating effective methods for internal and external stakeholder communication of operational progress.
- Planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of projects according to the determined time, budget, and quality standards.
- Project management from initiation to delivery.
- Creating detailed and comprehensive project work plan
- Breakdown of responsibilities and task assignment.
- Tracking of projects milestones and reporting progress to the general management.
- Managing day-to-day operational project execution key responsibilities
- Coordination of outputs within different members of operations, finance, and logistics departments
- Development of tools, methods, and practices for Project management and execution
- Identifying resources available/required for project execution
- Drafting of Project Progress reports
- Ensuring all project data is properly filed during and after project closing, for reporting and auditing purposes
- Evaluation of supplier potential, and administration of contracts.
- Management of supplier relationships and ensuring effective communication.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, and keeping team members informed of project status.
- Team motivation and accountability.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
- Provide proactive follow-up to ensure task completion within defined durations.
- Ensuring scope consistency of project throughout the development process.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
