Job Summary:
One of our clients in Saudi Arabia is looking for Assistant Boutique Manager, who is responsible for maintain Key Client relationships by attending to their requests, ensuring full customer satisfaction is yielded, and ensuring that the sales team attain its objectives by mastering the sales process and displaying professional customer service behavior.
The Assistant Manager a motivated sales team and ensures achieving the sales targets and merchandise turnover for all the boutiques by maintaining a sustainable customer enchantment level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the boutique, following the Company Boutique standards and guidelines.
- Manage sales objectives and goals in the boutique including sales targets, sales forecasts, and KPIs.
- Manage the transactional discount average, handle, and conduct professionally the price negotiation of the customer, following company Discount Policy.
- Maintain the boutique environment and customer enchantment checklist as per the company standards and run weekly Customer enchantment audits of the boutique.
- Ensure that all sales staff are aligned with company’s grooming standards and work etiquette. Display the products as per the 5s methodology.
- Develop and build a top-notch and experienced sales team, through continuous mentoring, training, and daily brief meetings.
- Ensure that the sales team contacts the regular and potential customers through phone calls or direct contact.
- Executes and effectively manages every step of the sales process at an individual level and follow-ups with the team when necessary.
- Supervise and assist the sales team in gaining a clear understanding of their sales KPIs through daily briefs.
- Closing the deal and managing the necessary processes as per company standards after sales with customers.
- Gathering market and boutique customer information by engaging with customers and recording interests.
- Ensure that the team presents Jewelry using company luxury standards (wearing company grey gloves, using trays, displaying 4 pieces maximum, etc.…).
- Work closely with HR to identify, train, and retain star performers through the Performance Management System and career/succession planning.
- Makes sure that all training sessions given to sales are well utilized at the boutique level and communicates any further training needs to HR.
- Sets the check-in process for the sales team and ensures its execution and timely implementation with proper reporting to the director.
- Run a survey in the market including competitors and share an action plan with the boutique director.
- Manage the overall sales KPIs of the team and follow up on any discrepancies and shortcomings.
- Manages smooth boutique operations and asset protection.
- In charge of boutique opening/closing procedure, accountable for handing the keys, the alarm code, and POS.
- Prepare the boutique for welcoming customers: checking the showcase, and displays, always monitoring the cleanliness and tidiness of the boutique, and ensuring the inventory count at the beginning of every shift.
- Reconcile the previous night’s sales reports, prepare cash reports for management, and handle the monthly petty cash of the boutique.
- Work closely with HR for employee administrative and employee-related matters (HRMS/Uniform/ CE Audit).
- Work roster schedule for sales staff and monitor the daily attendance and vacation balance.
- Manage boutique maintenance issues and repairs and coordinate with retail operations when needed.
- Responsible for securing and updating legal documents related to the boutique: i.e. trade licenses, permits, maintenance contracts, approved supplier lists, letters, and other documents.
- Manage and audit the repairs received from customers, and make sure customers are called for collection.
- Manage the team while labeling any newly received items or upon price change.
- Responds to management projects when assigned, by the Boutique Director.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience within retail or luxury retail- preferably jewelry.
- Proven track record in sales generation and managing the achievement of commercial results.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Point of Sales (POS) system
