Job Summary:
Our client, a multinational automotive company is looking for a Sales Manager - Aftermarket to be based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Purpose of the Position
- Manage annual sales planning, sales activities and campaigns together with the General Manager
- Leads & motivates the sales team, and sets clear goals and priorities achieving to annual targets
- Directly Managing the assigned Key Customers commercial agreements
- Distribution analysis & prospect for new business opportunities by collecting market intelligence data
- Ensure customer target achievement and support the Year end rebates analysis and application
- Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Define sales tactics for each product category and customer group
- Support the launch and introduction of the new products
- Planning sales activities coordinating the sales team
- Achieve the sales targets supporting the sales team in achieving their goals on sales and profitable business
- Analyses distribution channels, recognizes potentials for new target customers, gives recommendations for distribution adjustments.
- Reports on individual customer topics, monthly results activities and challenges.
- Analysis of sales data and address discrepancies between goals and actual results. Initiates suitable countermeasures
- Launch & Manage Strategic initiatives: Trusted Program, Local promoters & support in brand protection, raid actions
- Negotiate and agree contracts with direct customers in the business area, including terms of payments and credit limits and customer classification
- Chase sales forecast order, confirmation on sales orders and payment from customer on monthly basis to assure Monthly Sales Closing for directly managed key customers.
Requirements:
- Education
- Required: Bachelor in Business administration or similar English language skills at business level.
- Desired: MBA in Marketing & Commercial management.
Experience - At least 5 years of sales experience in the independent automotive aftermarket.
- Good knowledge of the region, customers and their shareholder structures.
