Job Summary:
Our client, a multinational manufacturer of special vehicles is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Africa Market).
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all business activities for Special Vehicles equipment in the assigned African territory, from initial sales contact to final delivery
- Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, existing, and potential customers to secure long-term business opportunities
- Manage key accounts and distributors, including sales forecasting, tender submissions and financial reporting routines
- Develop and implement regional strategy and action plans
- Negotiate dealer/distributor agreements and manage price negotiations as directed by the management
- Provide feedback to After Sales & R&D to improve product quality
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences
- Expected Outcomes
- Increased market share and sales growth for Special Vehicles in the African region
- Expansion and strengthening of distributor and customer networks, resulting in long-term business partnerships
- Successful implementation of regional business development and operational plans, aligned with global strategy

Requirements:
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong business acumen and an engineering mindset
- Able to work effectively across diverse cultures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships at all organizational levels
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Customer base management
- Sales orientation and capturing new business or segments
- Developing and implementing sustainable business development and operational plans
- Preferred background 10 years’ experience in material handling, port terminals, or logistics business sales, with minimum 3 years’ experience traveling in Africa
- Educational qualifications: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics (preferred)
- French language proficiency required
