Job Summary:
Position - Head of Central air conditioning (CAC) - Projects & Sales
Job location - Bahrain
Purpose of the position - Project execution & P&L of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To look after all over progress of the division
2. To look after the progress of each site
3. To make sure that the quality is maintained at all levels
4. The billing cycle is maintained
5. To provide back up for the system related issues to all the project engineers.
6. To conduct weekly internal meeting with all the team members to review the weekly progress reports
7. To review the production rate of the duct manufacturing facility and try to look for a continuous improvement
8. To look after the design office schedule and loading
9. To monitor the project financially
10. To make sure that, the file received from Sales division, contains all the entire necessary document needs to execute the project
11. To work closely with the drawing office from shop drawings preparation till its approval.
12. To identify the needs of man power, material needs of the engineering staff & provide the support
13. To review project work program of all projects
14. To make sure that, the project is running as per what it was planned for. In the event if the project is moving out of the track for any reasons, then the analysis of the same to be done with the project team & corrective actions to be taken. Reporting to be done to the higher management
15. If there are any variations on the project, then those variation should be reviewed for its submission & approval
16. Finalization of supplier quotations as per the project requirement / Project specification / Budget
17. Attending all technical coordination meeting along with the client / consultants / main contractor and clarifying/resolving all issues related to HVAC works for a smooth project progress and project completion
18. Maintain customer satisfaction
19. Identifying the training needs and arranging the same for the subordinates in timely manner
20. Knowledge in MS Project / AutoCAD and MS office
21. Ensuring compliance to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines and procedures in areas related to his job.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:-Bachelors in mechanical engineering or relevant courses.
